A KCSE 2017 candiadate has committed suicide in Migori.

According to Nation, Carren Ouma ended her life by jumping into a bore hole.

She had scored grade C minus in the results released by Education Cabinet Secretary Fred Matiangi on Wednesday.

Carren is said to have had high hopes of scoring grade C+ thats is required for university entry.

She went to the extent of changing schools rom Osingo Secondary in Migori to a Kuria-based institution.

Osingo Location Chief Mwai Odila confirmed the incident.

"She first sat her exams at Osingo Secondary before later moving to a school in Kuria and still ended up getting the same grade," Odila is quoted by Nation.
