A Form Four candidate from Sameta Mixed secondary school was forced to sit her Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) papers at Ogembo hospital after she experienced labour pains.
She was rushed to the hospital where she gave birth to twins, and later on sat for her papers.
Sameta sub county Education Officer Cyrus Motari said the candidate was rushed to the hospital at about 6am on Wednesday, and delivered successfully at 10am.
“She delivered twins and is currently sitting for her exams. We believe she will able to continue with the exams,” he said.
