Kenya Bureau of Standards (Kebs) has suspended the production of Dasani water in Kilifi County.

Production at Coca Cola's Kikambala plant in Kilifi was halted after inspection by Kebs officers following reports that wool had been found in the packaged Dasani water beig sold.

Kebs Coast region manager Martin Nyakiamo said that production will remain suspended until further investigations show safety and standard hygiene at the plant.

The company has already recalled the units which had been bottled from September 16 to 18, 2016.
