Mombasa Senator Hassan Omar has exhibited a rear show of camaraderie with former investigative journalist Mohammed Ali (Moha) in Mombasa.Omar who is seeking to challenge Hassan Joho for the seat of governor during the August 8 elections assured Moha he will trounce his competitors during the poll.The two met after Moha controversially lost the ODM Nyali constituency nominations to Joho’s cousin Said Abdallah, alias Saedo.Moha accused Joho of conniving with senior ODM county officials to rig him out and hand over the nomination certificate to Saedo.“Great to see my brother MohaJichoPevu keeping strong,” Omar said in a Facebook message on Monday after posting a picture of the two enjoying a light moment at an undisclosed location.“You shall overcome. Your resilience will wear them down. See you in the ballot on August 8.”Omar is currently one of Governor Joho’s fiercest critics in Mombasa.He has promised to give the county chief a run for his money during the August polls.Wiper, a National Super Alliance-affiliate party has already handed Omar the ticket to contest for the governor seat against Joho.Moha has said with or without ODM, his name will be on the ballot paper come August.
