Lands Cabinet Secretary Prof Jacob Kaimenyi has called on staff at the Ministry to work closely with officers from the Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission (EACC) to ensure zero corruption.
This follows the on-going investigation by EACC, as the Ministry issues tittle deeds.
The EACC is investigating the tittle deed issuance, to ensure no corruption cases and fair to all tittle deed applicants.
Kaimenyi also called on his staff to ensure all land records are properly kept for references and future use, to make work easier especially for Kenyans seeking land services.
He warned officers with tendency of hiding important land files, only to produce them when they are given bribes.
"I want you to ensure you keep records and files in good condition. I don't want to be told that some files are missing. If they are missing, its definitely you who misplaced it, and you must find it,'' the CS told Land Ministry staff, Tuesday.
