Baringo senator Gideon Moi has urged his critics and opponents to avoid dragging his father into 2022 politics.
Speaking on Saturday, the younger Moi said he is disturbed by the frequent use of his father’s name by opponents who want to discredit him.
He urged politicians to stop the act and instead deal with him head-on.
“If you want to insult me do so, but leave Mzee Moi alone, leave him out of your politics.Don’t drag him into this,” he said.
There has been political heat after Deputy President William Ruto visited retired president Daniel Moi at his Kabarak home but was denied to meet him.
Ruto’s allies accused Gideon of using his father’s health status to score political scores.
