Speaking at St. Veronicah Catholic Church in Kuresoi, Nakuru County, Ruto told the DP to keep off Bomet politics.

"The deputy President is not my campaign manager and he should know that even in 2013, I campaigned for him and President Uhuru Kenyatta and it is not vice versa," Governor Ruto said.

The vocal Chama Cha Mashinani party leader added that he will win over Jubilee in Bomet at 9 in the morning and there is no doubt about him retaining the gubernatorial seat.

According to the Bomet Governor, the people have right to choose a leader of their choice and no one can dictate to Bomet people who they should vote for.

The outspoken governor has fallen out with the Deputy President over his leadership style.

The governor was accompanied by Kuresoi South MP Zakayo Cheruiyot and Dr Peter Koros, a Nakuru gubernatorial aspirant and said he was confident to retain his seat and that he does not regret ditching Jubilee to form his Chama Cha Mashinani (CCM).
