Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) chairman John Mbadi has asked Deputy President William Ruto to keep off Coalition for Reforms and Democracy (Cord) affairs.
Mbadi claims that DP Ruto is obsessed with Cord affairs and that he should concentrate on Jubilee affairs.
On Monday, Mbadi hit out at Ruto over his recent claim that the opposition had failed to agree on its 2017 presidential flag bearer.
“The Deputy President should keep of Cord affairs because we don’t need his advice on what we should do or not do,” he said as quoted by the Nation on Tuesday.
Mbadi said that Cord does not comment on Jubilee internal affairs.
During a rally in Garsen on Sunday, the Deputy President claimed that Cord co-principals Raila Odinga, Kalonzo Musyoka and Moses Wetangula had failed to agree on who among them should be given the presidential ticket in 2017 general elections.
The Deputy President further said that Cord will not win in 2017 elections.
Ruto has on several occasions criticised the Raila led opposition claiming that it cannot match Jubilee government.
