Two MPs from Nakuru County have been told to keep off Nakuru County affairs and concentrate on national matters at the National Assembly.
The irate Nakuru County MCAs, who spoke to journalists on Wednesday at the county assembly precincts, accused Bahati MP Kimani Ngunjiri and his Nakuru Town West counterpart Samuel Arama of being a 'thorn in the flesh' of the county's politics and development.
"We want to warn the two to stop pretending to be our big brothers. We know all this trouble they are causing is as a result of their selfish interests being turned down by the county government," said Waithuke Njane, the Majority Leader.
"Let them wait for 2017 to come and vie for the MCA seats because that is what they want. For now, they are not tolerated here," Subukia MCA, Njuguna Gishamu said.
They have been asked to stay in Nairobi and push their constituencies' agenda.
"Here they are strangers as we are in Nairobi. They do not even speak in Parliament," said Turi MCA.
