Alego Usonga MP Samuel Atandi has been asked to keep off matters pertaining the Siaya county Assembly by the speaker Mr George Okode.

Okode said if Atandi wants to please the governor he should do it elsewhere, not drag the assembly into his personal interests.

The county speaker was responding to allegations by Atandi that the assembly was dragging Governer Cornel Rasanga's feet in initiating development by failing to approve the list of CeCs.

“I want to tell the MP to focus on his national responsibilities and leave county affairs to the MCAs,” Okode said.

Okode also asked Atandi to resign and vie for an MCA position.
