Speaking during a Church fundraiser in Gathige in Murang’a, Muthoni accused Moi of trying to interfere with the affairs of Jubilee Party following Moi's allegations that Jubilee lacked internal democracy.

The lawmaker asked the Kanu party leader to address issues in his party instead of meddling into affairs of other parties he is not a member of.

“Stop interfering with our affairs and deal with issues in your party first. Elections are around the corner and there is no time to involve yourself in things that do not involve you,” she said.
