Mavoko Member of Parliament Patrick Makau has told off Machakos Governor Alfred Mutua for criticizing Wiper leader Kalonzo Musyoka's political stand and decisions.
Speaking to residents in Mlolongo Town on Saturday, Makau said Mutua has no moral authority to question or criticize Kalonzo's political decisions.
He said the Maendeleo Chap Chap leader should concentrate on his party affairs and leave Kalonzo and Wiper Party alone.
Makau said that it is disrespectful for governor Mutua to talk negatively about Kalonzo, who he said made him the politician he is today.
"Governor Mutua should back off commenting on Wiper party affairs and concentrate on his Chap Chap party," he said.
The Wiper MP said Kalonzo deserves respect, noting that he remains the Kamba political king-pin.
He dismissed claims that Governor Mutua has overtaken Kalonzo as the Kamba leader.
He claimed the Machakos governor is inexperienced to be the community leader, adding that Kalonzo is and will remain the community leader.
Governor Mutua has been castigating Kalonzo for skipping Raila Odinga's inauguration as the people's president on January 30.
In several interviews with local radio stations, Mutua has allegedly been terming Kalonzo as a coward who cannot be trusted or depended on.
The governor has been claiming that Kalonzo's absence at Raila's inauguration was a clear indication that he lacks a political stand.
Kalonzo has been under criticism for skipping Raila's inauguration as the people's president.
The Wiper leader has however been defending himself, saying that he is committed to NASA reforms agenda and ready to take oath as the people's deputy president.
On Friday, during the ODM National Delegates meeting in Nairobi, Kalonzo said NASA is united and ready to continue the push for electoral reforms and justice.
