Nairobi Women Rep Esther Passaris’ birthday message to her 22-year-old daughter has left twitter admirers going gaga.
The legislator who couldn’t hide her joy and love for Kenna on her birthday poured her heart out on twitter attaching two of her photos.
“In my daughter's eyes, I see a mature girl ready to take on the world, one who can think deeply and dare to find solutions. I love you Kenna and I know you will bloom in your own time. Don't rush through life's mysteries, but enjoy every stage. Happy, Happy 22nd Birthday,” she wrote.
Just as one would expect, most of the Kenyan men on Twitter couldn’t hide their admiration for the politician’s duplicate daughter with some asking for her telephone numbers. She however told-off the surging ‘team mafisi’ setting too high the bar for anyone that needed to reach out to the beautiful Kenna who is out of the country.
“I need coordinates to your compound. Who knows, luck may make me your son-in-law..” wrote Bernard Kimutai.
Replying to Mr. Kimutai, Passaris said, “Hard work. Good Values and Character. Never Luck. She isn't a lottery ticket. A beautiful soul waiting for her soul mate. Mummy has nothing to do with it. This is where #DreamsNotValid The Science and Statistics of life are harder and tougher in real life than in the classroom.”
A number lashed out to the politician for not even tagging her daughter in the tweet to help them follow and probably stalk her online. She said it would be unlike her to let the ‘peculiar’ Kenyan men’s habits be a share of her daughter’s online life and chose to protect her.
“Is she on Twitter? You didn't even (tag) @ her. So let me guess, this is more of you showing off to the world than wishing her a happy bday. But she cute though. You are justified to show her off,” admitted Mura Kariuki in a reply.
