Nacada Chairman John Mututho has been told to keep off Nakuru County affairs with leaders there accusing him of interfering with matters of governance in the county.
Naivasha MP John Kihagi has told Mututho to stick to his NACADA job and leave politics to the politicians. "I want to tell Mututho, if he cannot stick to fighting alcohol and drugs, we as Nakuru people, we are going to petition the President to sack him," said Kihagi.
Speaking on Sunday in Naivasha, Kihagi added: "Instead of Mututho taking his responsibility seriously, he has been coming here to fight for the hawkers. These are things that have been assigned to other people."
Kihagi also warned him against threatening the governor that he will fight him politically due to the issue of hawkers saying that they will defend the governor.
The MP has also told Mututho to keep off Naivasha Constituency Development Fund (CDF).
"I have noted that Mututho has been intimidating my CDF officers by asking them for records and other things. He had his five years and should leave us to do our work," he added.
