Lugari Member of Parliament (MP) Ayub Savula has hit out at former Budalangi MP Ababu Namwamba and asked him to keep off NASA affairs.
Savula claims that the former ODM Secretary-General has no business poking holes and intruding into NASA or National Resistance Movement (NRM) affairs.
In a phone interview with the star on Wednesday, Savula dismissed the former Budalang'i MP’s petition to the Registrar of Political Parties to have NASA and its affiliate parties investigated and de-registered.
The Lugari lawmaker claimed that Ababu is being used by Jubilee to fight NASA saying that he is starting a fight he will never finish.
“What Ababu is engaging in is childish activism. He wants to please his masters for a reward,” the Lugari MP said as quoted by the Star.
Savula claimed that Ababu is an embarrassment to the Luhya community and asked him to stop using the community’s name to beg for a job in Jubilee.
The former lawmaker has been hitting out at NASA claiming that the Raila Odinga-led opposition is allegedly planning for anarchy.
On Tuesday, the former Raila Odinga ally under the Professional Council of Kenya wrote to the Registrar of Political Parties Lucy Ndung’u asking her to investigate NASA and its affiliate parties.
Ababu alleged that NASA has transformed into NRM with agenda of causing anarchy in the country.
Early this week, Ababu also revealed that they (Jubilee) will be pushing to have changes in the constitution to make voting mandatory.
The opposition has been under sharp criticism after it announced that it has transformed into a resistance movement.
A section of Jubilee politicians has since likened NASA's NRM to a militia group like Joseph Koni's LRA.
