Youth in Gusii region have been warned against being misused by politicians to engage in violence even as the 2017 elections draw nigh.
Nominated MCA at the Nyamira County Assembly Julius Marita instead advised youth to act wisely and shun such politicians.
“Let our youths to do what can benefit them in future. They should not allow themselves to be misused by politicians in engaging in violence. Politicians use our youths in a negative way let us be wise always as youths,” said Julius Mariita.
The MCA who spoke at Ekerenyo on Monday, promised to fight for youths to see that they are successful in various societies more so using their talents to prosper in life.
He also said Nyamira County government has put measures in place to expand many of county roads to easy transportation sector in Nyamira County.
He called on residents to work with the county government to promote more development projects
