North Mugirango MP Charles Geni has dismissed National Assembly Majority Leader Adan Duale as ‘political toddler’ following the latter's latest claims about opposition chief Raila Odinga’s presidential bid.
Duale recently dismissed Raila’s presidential bid, arguing that the veteran leader cannot be president 'because God could not allow him.'
And on Wednesday, Geni wondered why the Garissa Township MP was periodically targeting Raila yet he himself is not in the presidential contest.
“Sometimes I really get irritated with this Duale who has turned to be a 'prophet'. He seems to own voting cards of all Kenyans believing that he will vote on our behalf,” Geni said.
He added: “he is just but a political toddler who should be worried of defending his Garissa town seat and I hope I am telling him this for the last time. He has no mandate to dismiss people who have done all to secure freedom in this country.”
Geni all challenged Duale to apologise officially for regularly mocking his political mentor insisting that he still needed blessings of Odinga to survive in politics.
“Raila remains the most decorated politician in the history of this country. Duale should learn to appreciate his political mentors and in this case, I request him to respect Raila,” he said.
