Nakuru County Governor Kinuthia Mbugua has lauded teachers efforts in the county following an increase from 70-88% primary to secondary school transition.
He was speaking at the launch of Subukia Welfare Association in Subukia.
He urged teachers to keep up the good work noting education standards in Nakuru are among the highest in kenya.
Nakuru County KNUT executive Secratary Mungai Muhia commended the governor for supporting education in the county.
Mbugua also commended the formation of the welfare organization terming it as a noble idea. He was accompanied by several dignitaries including County Officer for esucation Joseph Tonui, and other MCAs and dignitaries.
