The Ford Kenya party MP claimed that the top leaders in this country should stop joking with Kenyans shaking hands and hugging one another while corruption is at the peak.

"Kenyans should ignore the handshake between the leaders because it is only meant for loyal families. Poor people in villages across the country are suffering while other men are busy and happily making fun in public," he said.

He said the handshake will not help in the fight agaisnt corruption that has taken deep roots in the country.

The lawmaker stated that Kenyans should dig deep into their pockets to pay taxes because the money lost through corruption and dubious dealings must be recovered through revenue collection.

"Kenyans have a burden of paying taxes to ensure the money stolen is recovered. The current arrest of NYS scam suspects was only meant to fool Kenyans but the reality is the suspects will be released from custody," Kemosi noted.
