West Mugirango MP Vincent Kemosi Mogaka said Maraga’s stand on the fight against corruption in this country will see corrupt government officials and cartels jailed.

“I am happy that the Judiciary is part of the fight against corruption. Maraga should give orders to the judges handling corrupt cases not to succumb to pressure from politicians and other cartels who are stealing public money but jail them,” he said.

The Ford Kenya MP said MPs will not frustrate the war in the fight against corruption.

Kemosi said the corrupt officials when arrested should carry their own cross and face the law.

“Corrupt officials who engage in corruption should face the rule of law alone. Public funds should be used to fund projects," he said.

The lawmaker was speaking during the Madaraka day celebrations at Nyamira primary school ground on Friday.
