[Photo|KeNHA]The Kenya National Highway Authority (KeNHA) is undertaking maintenance works to standardise humps along the Thika Superhighway.A communication from KeNHA's Corporate Communications Office to motorists and stakeholders, said the move aims to enhance smooth traffic flow and safety of pedestrians. "We urge motorists and pedestrians to cooperate with traffic marshals along the maintenance sites to ensure smooth traffic flow," the Authority said, Saturday.It further announced that plans were underway to replace all the humps along the superhighway, bearing public procurement procedures, and availability and allocation of resources to undertake the works. "Public procurement procedures for various sites including Survey, Ruaraka and Witeithie have already commenced, and the Authority is in consultation with the respective stakeholders in undertaking this process," said KeNHA.
