The Kenya National Highway Authority (KeNHA) on Tuesday held a stakeholders and public consultation forums for the upgrading of Malindi-Garsen-Hola-Madogo Road, which is a section of Mombasa-Garissa (B89) Road under the Kenya Transport Sector Support Project (KTSSP) financed by the World Bank Group.
The road traverses through urban centres of Malindi, Ganda, Garsen, Hola, Bura and terminates at Madogo along the Thika-Garissa (A3) Road.
With the support of the World Bank Group, KeNHA contracted a consultant to undertake a feasibility study, environmental social impact assessment report, social Impact assessment report, resettlement action plan report, preliminary and detailed design and preparation of tender documents for the road project.
As part of the preparation process, KeNHA is currently undertaking a stakeholder and public consultation meetings.
