Kennedy Musyoka, the son of NASA co-principal Kalonzo Musyoka has thanked the party for giving him the chance to be in parliament.
The young Musyoka was given the chance to represent the country in the East Africa Legislative Assembly, joining other Kenyans in the all-important regional house.
Speaking in public for the first time on Thursday at the home of the late Francis Nyenze, the legislator promised to work and deliver on his mandate.
“Because of the many votes that I garnered, there is a lot I would like to say, but I am not able to. The party is well represented here, what I am not able to mention, they will,” he said.
Governor Kivutha Kibwana advised the young Musyoka to ensure he represents the youth.
“The job you have been given is an important job, because you will be representing East Africa together with others, you will represent the youth in the region,” he said.
In his first public appearance in over three months, Musyoka senior said he is firmly in NASA, and supports any little thing the coalition is doing to fight for justice.
The Opposition says for the country to move on there must be dialogue to iron out any lingering issues.
