Kenya Airways says that the carrier has been able to reduce the number of flight delays and that it is now on schedule.
In a statement sent to newsrooms on Monday, KQ said there still a few delays occasioned by the technicians’ go slow.
“We would like to advise our guests that while we have still a few flight delays due to a number of our technicians going on a go-slow, majority of the flights are on schedule for the rest of the day.’
The statement adds, “Today, we had 58 flights scheduled to take off from across the network by 1pm and 51 have departed. We continue to work to reduce disruptions and are advising the affected guests directly. We regret any inconveniences caused.”
KQ said that they are working to resolve the issues with their technical team.
“The technical team remains a vital part of our business and we are currently working to resolve any outstanding issues. We request that you bear with us as we work to normalise operations and we will you updated on the progress,” concluded the statement.
