The government has assured South Sudan that it has not abandoned the war-torn country in peace keeping mission.
This is after president Uhuru Kenyatta ordered the Kenyan troops to be pulled out of the country following a row with the United Nation.
Addressing the press on Sunday, State House spokesperson Manoah Esipisu said that Kenya will continue providing peace in South Sudan but through other means.
"Kenya will keep its obligation to South Sudan. We will work with them bilaterally. IGAD and EAC will be used in promoting peace in South Sudan," said Esipisu.
