[Photo|Nasa coalition]Nominated MP Wilson Sossion, has challenged the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC), to call off the scheduled October 26, fresh presidential election.Sossion who was nominated through the ODM party, to represent workers, said the country is not in a position to hold an election.According to the Secretary General of the Kenya National Union of Teachers (Knut), the political temperatures and differences being witnessed between two top political rivals, President Uhuru Kenyatta and Raila Odinga, is bad for the country.Sossion, while speaking in Kisumu, said IEBC should postpone the election and allow Kenyatta dialogue with Odinga, before commencing with the election."If we postpone the election, we will not have a crisis. The election itself will bring crisis if IEBC goes on to conduct it on the 26th," said Sossion, Saturday. He added that fears that Kenya would lack a government if elections are not held, were false."We will not have a vacuum. Kenya can not have a vacuum," he added.IEBC has been under pressure to postpone the election, especially from the Opposition's NASA, and other human rights organizations, especially after chairman Wafula Chebukati, decried differences between his commissioners and political interference.
