Nakuru veteran politician Koigi wa Wamwere has warned the Opposition against swearing in Raila Odinga as they have threatened.
NASA said they do not recognize the election of President Uhuru Kenyatta and instead recognizes their leader Raila Odinga as president.
Koigi, however, says this is a recipe for war as no country can have two presidents as enjoy peace.
"Our losses not withstanding, we all continue to struggle for change that will eventually deliver desired and necessary reforms. In pursuance of that change and further reforms you want to be sworn in as 5th President of Kenya on 12th December 2017 notwithstanding that Uhuru Kenyatta was sworn in as President of Kenya on 28th November 2017," Koigi said.
He added: "If you are sworn in as president of Kenya, our dear land will have two presidents, two governments and be in a state of war."
The former Subukia MP said if Raila goes ahead to swear him in, that will be too confrontational. "I conclude Kenya will be in a state of war because no country can have two armies and have peace and no country can have two presidents and not be at war when one president is against the other. And while your presidency will not have the power of Uhuru presidency, it will be a shadow presidency that can still scare," he said.
