Kenya's Shujaa team lost 19-12 to Argentina in the Challenge trophy, in the ongoing Paris 7s tournament. Shujaa started the match on a high, with dangerman Collins Injera giving the Argentines a torrid time.

However, the South American team steadied and hit back, to eventually win the tie. 

Kenya were the first to score a try, with Captain Andrew Amonde touching down in the second minute, but could not convert from the resulting kick. 

Argentina hit back three minutes later with a converted try, giving them the lead. Shujaa, however, scored a converted try as well through Brian Tanga, before J. Rosas scored another try for the South Americans. 

William Mbaka and Erick Ombasa were shown yellow cards, as L. Gonzalez scored an unconverted try to give Argentina the win. 

Kenya will now face Australia in the 13th place semifinal at 12.51pm.
