Kenya’s under-17 national team settled for a barren draw against Ethiopia on Tuesday evening in the ongoing Cecafa Under 17 Championships in Burundi.
The team missed the opportunity to qualify for the semifinals of the tourney and will have to wait until Friday when they play Somalia to know their fate.
The team will qualify with a win of a high scoring draw against Somalia and will be happy know that their destiny is in their hands.
Kenya has four points from the first two games, having won the opening fixture 4-1 against hosts Burundi.
The top two in each group will qualify for the semis scheduled for April 25 with the decider four days later.
