Kenya now has a new partner in the name of Norway in its anti-terrorism struggle.

Norwegian ambassador to Kenya, Victor Ronneberg, pledged Norway's total support to Kenya in the fight against terrorism.

''We are eager to see the security of the country is top notch for the mutual development of the two nations,'' he said.

Ambassador Ronneberg was speaking at Saba Saba in Mombasa where he presided over the official opening of the Mashinani Youth centre.

Kenya has been the target of terror attacks especially from the Somalia-based Al-Shabaab group which has successfully staged bloody attacks on the country.
