Latest statistics indicate that Kenya is one of the biggest contributors to United Nations.
According to a UN report, Kenya contributed $445 million for procurement of goods and services for operational activities over the past year.
The contributions rank Kenya among the top ten countries that support the global body.
The top 10 countries supplying the UN system accounted for 44.8 percent of its total procurement volume ($7.9 billion) in 2015.
Kenya's contribution are mostly through cargo transportation services, construction services.
Last year, the United States was the largest contributor towards the United Nation with $1.6 billion.
Kenya is the only third world country to be ranked among the top ten contributors.
