Renowned lawyer Apollo Mboyo is keen on filing a case against the Kenya Power and Lightning Company Managing Director Ken Tarus and Energy Regulatory Commission director general Pavel Oimeke for allegedly acting in contempt of court.According to Mr. Mboya, the two companies continue to slap Kenyans with backdated bills in spite of a court order directing that to stop. There has been a huge public outcry over huge power bills, with many accusing the company of deliberately increasing the price of power to recover power fuel costs.''Kenya Power and the Energy Regulatory Commission continue to act in contempt of court and we want action to be taken against them,'' the lawyer said yesterday.
