The central defender moved to the Ruaraka based side in June 2015 after terminating his contract with the then cash-strapped Sofapaka.

He played a key role in helping Tusker win the 2016 Kenyan Premier League title and the Gotv Shield. His stay at Ruaraka has now come to an end after he opted not to renew his contract with the Robert Matano-coached side.

"Asike has left. His contract with the club has expired. He was offered a bumper deal early this year but he turned it down because his mind was made up. The club is looking for a defender to fill that slot," a source from the Brewers camp is quoted by Futaa.

The defender is reportedly being tracked by a number of clubs from Zambia, South Africa and one Swedish club that has been trailing him for months.

The 24-year old has previously featured for Kenya Commercial Bank FC in the Kenyan Premier League. He has also played for the national team, Harambee Stars.
