The world reports have revealed that Kenyan are much happier than their counterparts Tanzanians. According to the world ranking, Kenya was ranked position 124 happiest countries with a rating of 4.410 while Tanzania was position 153 with a rating of 3.303.

Globally, there are 195 countries. 193 countries are a member of the states of the United Nations while 2 are non-members. The World Happiness Report of 2018 showed that Kenya has registered an improvement of 0.276 while Tanzania has reported a drop of 0.366.

According to the report, Tanzania is more populated than Kenya. This gives Kenya an upper hand as the difference in happiness is Gross Domestic Product (GDP) which measures the economic performance of the country.

Healthy life expectancy is another reason why Kenya become happier than Tanzania. This is due to the improved standards of living in Kenya as compared to those in Tanzania.

Social support was also another thing that made Kenyans happier than Tanzanians. Kenyans support each other socially which provides a buffer against life events more than Tanzanians do.

According to the World Happiness Report of 2018, Finland has classified the happiest country in the world while Burundi was the least happy country in the whole world.
