Football Kenya Federation (FKF) president Nick Mwendwa has assured CAF and Africa that Kenya is ready to host African Nations Championship (CHAN) 2018 tournament.

He said everything is is order therefore there is no cause of alarm. 

"I want to state categorically that as a host nation, we will be ready and in time to host the 2018 CHAN," he said in Eldoret town, Friday after inspecting Kipchoge Keino Stadium. 

"All the four stadia are 50-60 percent complete. We are sure that by December 1 everything will be complete. I would like to end that speculation that Kenya will is not ready for CHAN," added Mwendwa. 

He, however, urged contractors to up their game by ensuring they meet the deadline given by Confederation of African Football (CAF).

The stadia that will be used during the competition include Kipchoge Keino, Kinoru,Nyayo and Kasarani.

CHAN competition is schedule for 11th January 2018.
