Humanitarian organization Kenya Red Cross (KRC) is set to recruit nurses in 11 counties as it moves to improve service delivery in Kenya’s volatile regions.
KRC on Saturday said it seeks to employ “dedicated and enthusiastic nursing officers for emergency response” in the counties of Marsabit, Mandera, Baringo, Isolo, Samburu, Wajir and Garissa.
Other counties where the nurses will be deployed include Tana River, Turkana, Lamu and West Pokot.
Interested applicants should be holders of diploma or degree certificates in community health nursing from recognized institutions, must be registered with the Nursing Council of Kenya and must be in possession of a valid practicing license.
Applicants must also have a minimum of two years’ experience in nursing practice, should display strong communication and interpersonal skills and should be available for immediate deployment.
Interested candidates who meet the requirements should send their applications not later than Tuesday October 10 to careers@redcross.co.ke quoting the county of interest on the subject line of the application mail.
