National soccer team Harambee Stars dip in form continued to haunt them after they slipped nine places to settle on position 111 in the latest Fifa world ranking released on Thursday.
Stars who are gearing for the Cecafa tourney were placed in position 102 in the October rankings but plummeted further owing largely to their lack of action through international matches and frendlies in the month of October and November.
However, losses to monnows Iraq and Thailand in their ealier friendly matches that were played in October is also believed tp have played a huge part in the team's dwindling fortunes.
The team will however be hoping to register improvements in the rankings when they host the Cecafa tourney on December 3 with new head coach Paul Put assuring the fans of better things to come.
Regionally,Uganda Cranes were ranked the best at position 74 globally while the Senegalese Lions of Teranga are the best side in Africa followed by Tunisia and the Pharaohs of Egypt.
On the global scene ,World Cup holders Germany are still the world's best with Brazil coming closely second.
