After finishing second in Group A when they beat Uganda 29-14 on Friday, Kenya Simbas have booked a date with New Zealand in their Main Cup quarter finals in the Dubai Sevens on Saturday morning.
Shujaa bounced back from the 48-5 embarrassment in the hands of South Africa to beat a stubborn Uganda and finish second best in the group.
The South African Boks finished top of the group with a perfect record after thrashing Canada in their last preliminary game.
Shujaa scored five tries against Uganda who managed only two, although the match left the team with serious injuries.
Speedy winger Collins Injera was replaced in their Boks game before Dennis Ombachi was stretchered off in the match against Uganda.
