Kenya has been voted a leading travel(safari) destination in 24th world's travel Award in 2017. This comes after a charged political season that led to travel advisories against visiting Kenya by several European countries.

Africa's Leading Airline - Business Class 2017 and Africa leading Airline where Kenya Airways won beating Egypt air, Ethiopian Airways, SouthAfrican Airways and Rwanda Air even with it undergoing turbulence in the market.
Africa leading cruise port was won by the port of Mombasa beating port Elizabeth of SouthAfrica, Dar es salaam and Zanzibar of Tanzania. Masaai Mara is the African leading National park and Diani Beach as africa's leading destination.
Last year, The number of international visitor arrivals had rose by 13.5% to 1.3 million in owing to improved security and successful high profile conferences hosted in the country.
