Wiper Leader Kalonzo Musyoka says Kenya will explode should the government attempt to arrest opposition leader Raila Odinga.
The government through the ministry of Interior Coordination had threatened to arrest Odinga over alleged hate speech in Kajiado early this month.
But at Narok on Wednesday, Musyoka dared Cabinet Secretary Joseph Nkaissery to make his threats real adding that Kenya would plunge into unprecedented chaos.
“I want to challenge Nkaissery to attempt to arrest Raila. He will know that Kenya won’t be the same again,” said Kalonzo.
He added: “The real people who are fond of hate speech are scot free. They do that repeatedly with the protection of the government and it’s only in the opposition he sees a mistake.”
In Kajiado, Odinga cautioned the local community against selling their ancestral land to ‘outsiders’, a statement which elicited strong reaction from the government.
NASA has taken its campaigns to perceived swing regions with Kajiado and Narok being on spot and would on Thursday traverse the vast Narok County.
