[Photo/Parliament of Kenya]The National Assembly Speaker Justin Muturi hosted Kenyan born-Australian Senator, Lucy Gichuhi, a week after she met Senate Speaker Ken Lusaka.Muturi and Gichuhi shared experiences from their different legislative jurisdictions on Thursday.She noted that the Kenya had made steady progress in the implementation of the 2010 Constitution of Kenya, specifically in regards to the principle of separation of powers and entrenchment of parliamentary democracy, especially given that Kenya has only had the said constitution for only 7 years.Senator Gichuhi was accompanied by her husband William Gichuhi during the visit.
