The Kenya-Posta Rangers FC first choice keeper was the hero of the day during the CECAFA Senior Challenge Cup 2017, saving three penalties in the final that saw Kenya beat Zanzibar to lift the title.
The shot-stopper has been granted permission by his club to try his luck in Turkey, and he is optimistic he will perform well.
“I have permission from my club to attend the trials, I have always insisted on doing things the right way and that is what I’m doing now,” he said when he spoke to journalists on Monday.
“Of course, I pray that it will all fall into place. I will take my chance with the trials and hopefully, they will be successful,” he added.
The 29-year-old goalkeeper, who hails from the Western part of Kenya, has played for West Sugar and AFC Leopards.
The keeper had a tournament to remember in the country, helping the Kenyan team win the Cecafa title on home soil to the delight of many local fans.
