A showdown is looming as Kenyan and Italian investors are expected to officially reclaim the Sh1 billion Temple Point Resort in Watamu.

According to The Star, Isaac Rodrot a Kenyan, and Italian Stefano Uccelli were given orders to take back the said multimillion property following a court ruling.

Speaking on Sunday, the hoteliers said that they have used the right legal procedures to get back their property, which is currently being managed by a German investor Hans Jurgen Langer.

Sources indicate that the handover process is likely to attract wrangles despite the directive from the court.

The German and the two investors have engaged in legal battles over the property for around seven years with each of them claiming to be the rightful owner.

Rodrot and Uccelli now claim that the German plans to use goons to stop them from accessing the facility following the directive from the court.

They are, however, confident that they will reclaim the hotel following the landmark court ruling.

"The court order was very clear and was delivered by a senior judge who said Langer acquired the hotel fraudulently," Uccelli said, as quoted by The Star.

The court informed the German, through Ndegwa Kiarie and Co Advocates that the investors will move to reclaim the property accompanied by security officers on Wednesday.
