Dennis Omondi, a Kenyan journalist has appealed for friends and well wishers to help him raise his medication fee.
The journalist, who was working for West Media Limited before he was flown to India in February has been left without being attended to due to his hospital bill.
Mr. Omondi, who is suffering from acute leukemia, is currently stranded at Apollo Hospital where he is supposed to undergo bone marrow transplant.
According to a video record ran by KTN, the journalist has been sidelined by the doctors without any treatment for the past 4 weeks pending his medication fee.
The doctors needs him to settle the money before he can be treated.
"I have gone for 4 weeks now without any treatment and i have been calling upon people for help using different sources in the government and other agencies but i have not received any help until now that can help me get treatment," said Mr. Omondi.
According to the journalist, his condition is getting critical and appeals for help from Kenyans and any other well wishers so as to receive treatment. He was required to pay 8 million but now the 31 year old and a family man needs 6.5 million to help him get treatment.
"For sure my condition is dire and i appeal to any Kenyan and any other person who is willing to help so that i can receive treatment. I need 6.5 m so that i can be treated here." he said.
