[Photo/Wishfm Nairobi]A Kenyan was deported from Israel on Monday morning after being denied entry into the Israeli airport by the Interior Ministry.Francis Kimani, who calls himself 'Yehudah Kimani', an African convert to Judaism, had obtained permission to study at a yeshiva which is run by the Conservative Movement in Jerusalem.Reports said the 31-year-old was deported after being detained at Ben-Gurion International Airport overnight despite having a three-month valid tourist visa to Israel, signed by Israel’s ambassador in Nairobi Noah Gal Gendler.He had gone to the Jewish state for a three-week study program, a move that was seen by activists as part of the ongoing discrimination by Israel against Jews.
