Great Kenyan pastors have been known through the scandalous actions tagged to their names. With cases ranging from fake miracles, extortion, to spiritual cleansing through adultery, Christian faith has been tarnished and rebuked just by the doing of these few exposed ‘Men of God’.

Prophetess Lucy Nduta of Salvation Healing Ministry was one of the famous female televangelists to have ever Kenyan TV screens. Nduta was nabbed and charged for swindling unsuspecting Christians of over 1 million Kenyan shillings with claims that she had total cure over HIV/AIDS. Charges for her miraculous healing prayers ranged from Ksh200, 000 and Ksh400, 000 with a mandatory registration fee of Ksh1000.

Bishop Thomas Wahome of Helicopter of Crist Church also made a huge benefit by lying to his congregation that he had been entrusted with God’s book of life.  Wahome went on to charge his church members Ksh1000 for the revelation of whether their names had been included in the list or not. His followers even touched his clothes for Ksh1200 to get ‘healed’ as he termed it. He was currently accused of sending explicit images to his church followers on WhatsApp and demanding tithe.

The miracle babies Bishop, Gilbert Deya, had been a UK-based preacher. Deya claimed that he possessed supernatural powers that could make infertile women pregnant. Deya got deported from UK after the authorities suspected that he and his wife were doing a child smuggling business under the name of church ministries. Deya was also charged with three counts of rape and one attempted rape during his trial in court.

Pastor James Maina Ng’aNg’a, founder of Neno Evangelism Center is clearly not afraid of going back to prison. Being that he had already served time in Shimo la Tewa Prison in Mombasa, the Ex-con knows what to expect incase his case goes sour. Ng’ang’a allegedly killed Mercy Neri in a fatal road crush and paid off the authorities to get rid of any evidence that may be linked to him. He was also known for his fake miracles that Christians paid for.
