Kenyan referee Aden Marwa has been selected among the officials who will head to Russia to officiate in the FIFA Confederations Cup.

The tournament is a precursor to the FIFA World Cup.

Marwa was among the referees at the 2014 FIFA World Cup.

Marwa was also among the referees who handled the 2017 African Cup of Nations (AFCON) final pitting Cameroon against Egypt.

From Africa, there will be a total of four referees; two assistants and two center referees.
