A top Alshabaab leader who is a Kenyan is on the run for his life after disagreements with the terrorist group's top brass.

Ahmed Iman is an Engineering graduate of the Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology.

Ahmed Diriye and Mahad Karate, both Somalis, want him dead.

Efforts are said to have been made to try to quell the tensions but to no avail.

Media reports have indicated that Iman has been seeking amnesty from Kenyan authorities in exchange for intelligence that may be critical in the anti-terror war.
