The Kenyan side to take on Morrocco in Casablanca for the Africa Gold Cup qualifier on Saturday against Morocco has been named and it surprisingly includes some new faces as well.
The game will also serve as a World Cup qualifier and will include five uncapped players as coach Ian Snook rang the changes for the Saturday game.
U20 sensation Edmund Anya gets the nod alongside Kabras Sugar’s Colman Were who will play hooker in the side.
Mohammed Omollo, Zeden Marrow and Max Kang’eri of Kakamega Homeboyz have also been given a chance to impress.
This follows the unavailability of several players due to commitments elsewhere.
The Kenya camp is expecting a thriller of a match after the North Africans held African heavyweights Zimbabwe to a 23-all draw.
"We watched their match last weekend and established that they are a very physical side and have some very big forwards whom we will have to match if we are to get a win,” coach Snook said.
