The record holder in Africa's aviation matters attended Moi Girls High School attending an aviation training at Wilson Airport.

The Kenyan sensation acquired her Private Pilot's license at the Airport before deciding to take further studies at the University of Oklahoma in the United States of America.

In the US, she was given the pilots license by theFederal Aviation Authority on merit, this meant that she could pilot a commercial airline. 

Kenyan airliner Kenya Airways snapped her up on her return to Kenya in 1995 where she was the only person of her gender at the time.

 Kenya Airways then gave her a number of promotions after she had furthered her studies and excellently qualified in the areas she specialized in.

With the sophistication of the aviation industry as well as the rising levels of education in the country, more ladies graduating from high school have attempted to follow suit in her footsteps.

In the near future, we shall, of course, see more ladies take off with planes but a lot of dedication is required to write a story similar to hers.
